Nepal’s Armed Police Force Begins Patrolling at Disputed Border Point With India:
















কাঠমান্ডু: নেপাল সরকার তার সশস্ত্র পুলিশ বাহিনী (এপিএফ) এর একটি দলকে লিপুলেখের নেপাল-ভারত সীমান্ত পয়েন্টে মোতায়েন করেছে ভারতীয় প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রক, নেপালকে নিজের বলে দাবি করে অঞ্চলটির মধ্য দিয়ে একটি লিংক রোডের উদ্বোধন করেছে।

এপিএফ সদর দফতরের পরিদর্শক লিলি বাহাদুর চাঁদ গত বুধবার থেকে বাইচ পল্লী পৌরসভা -১, দারচুলা জেলার ছাঙ্গড়ুতে ২৫ জন কর্মীর একটি দলকে নেতৃত্ব দিচ্ছেন।

এপিএফ সীমান্ত ফাঁড়ির উদ্বোধন করেন একই দিন এপিএফের অতিরিক্ত মহাপরিদর্শক নারায়ণ বাবু থাপা।

সীমান্ত ফাঁড়ি স্থাপনের পরে এপিএফ কর্মীরা নিয়মিত এলাকায় টহল দিচ্ছেন।

এআইজি থাপের মতে, নেপাল সেনাবাহিনীর এমআই -১ helicop হেলিকপ্টার দিয়ে সেনা ছানগ্রুতে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়েছিল।





এপিএফ জানিয়েছে যে পিথোরাগড় থেকে চীন সীমান্ত পর্যন্ত ভারত একটি "মনসারোভার লিংক রোড" তৈরি করার পরে নেপালের পশ্চিম সীমান্ত রক্ষার জন্য সীমান্ত ফাঁড়ি স্থাপন করা হয়েছে, নেপাল জোর দিয়েছিল যে অংশটি নেপালকে তার অঞ্চল বলে জোর দিয়েছিল।

এই দাবি ভারতীয় পক্ষ প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছে।

পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী প্রদীপ জ্ঞাওয়ালি একটি সংসদীয় কমিটিকে বলেছিলেন যে কাঠমান্ডুতে ধারাবাহিক সরকারগুলি ভারতের সাথে নেপালের পশ্চিমাঞ্চলীয় অঞ্চল সুরক্ষিত করতে ব্যর্থ হয়েছিল কারণ তারা সেখানে দীর্ঘকাল উপস্থিতি বজায় রেখেছিল।

ছাংরু অঞ্চলটি সমুদ্র স্তর থেকে 3000 থেকে 5000 মিটার উচ্চতায় অবস্থিত এবং জনশূন্য।

ইতোমধ্যে নেপালে সরকারবিরোধী বিক্ষোভ অব্যাহত রয়েছে। তারা দাবি করছেন যে প্রধানমন্ত্রী কে.পি. ‘নেপালের ভূখণ্ড’, লিপুলেখের সুরক্ষার জন্য অলি তার ভারতীয় প্রতিপক্ষের সাথে কথা বলেছেন।
